Straddling and Staying Cool
It has been almost six months since President Trump took office. It seems like a lot longer however. President Trump has done a lot to begin his plans for bringing jobs back to America. The left biased mainstream media however, has been doing everything they can to shame him, and try to make republicans look bad. They have gotten so bad, that they are outright lying, and the idea of journalistic integrity has flown out the window long ago. The liberals seem to be the ones who have been inciting violence, and have been the ones who have been promoting racism, and sexism. While the conservatives are just sitting there trying to go about their normal lives. It is kinda scary in a way, how much hate, those who hate hate, can spew. I believe that the liberals are going to end up being the downfall of this freedom based, and constitutionally based country as we know it.
That being said, it is interesting to sit back, watch the chaos, and be entertained by it all. Since I do listen and support NoAgenda, I tend to be quite informed about mainstream media's bias, and about what is truly happening in the world. So, I typically am not overly confused by what is at play. But it is interesting watching other grasp at straws, and fumble in a sea of their own doubts and confusion. Sometimes I try to reach out and help those who seem to be worthy of my help. But more often than not, even those people who claim to want help, really don't want to change.
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink, right? Very true. For a few years now, I have been trying to help many females overcome various issues in their lives. They would seek my assistance, when they felt that they needed my guidance, but they would then slip back into the shadows once I dispensed my advice.
Problem is, they rarely took that advice. Sable was a woman whom I cared for a lot. She was in a tough situation.
Sable had a habit of hiding in a fantasy world to escape her reality. Her reality involved being held as a prisoner in her own home. The man whom she lived with wouldn't allow her to work, drive, or leave the home unless he was with her. She was his slave, and she was expected to have dinner ready for him, and to serve his every desire, when he wanted it. When Sable and I talked daily, it quickly became apparent that she hated this. Her talks with me would often snap out of the fantasy world, when he would call her several times a day while he was at work, to make sure she wasn't cheating on him while he was away. I began to focus on getting her to leave him. She agreed she needed to. But she still hasn't. 3 years have passed now.
I have begun shedding myself of these females who seem to not want to really change their situation. By no means am I suggesting that any female needs to change themselves, especially in order to be loved and cared for by myself. But if they are in a bad situation, then fantasy isn't the answer. Change is. Our lives are only so long, and living them in a fantasy world is a waste of a life.
For this reason I have been spending more and more time away from the computer, and away from my smartphone. I am focusing on projects around the house, and spending time with those whom are in my life. I have been nominated to take on the responsibility of running a citizens on patrol type neighborhood watch type group in my city. This is just the nomination which may help me refocus my efforts to actually serve some good, and help some people, as opposed to feeding peoples fantasy.
As for my projects around the house, that will be discussed in a later post. But for now, I shall leave this post here. Keep it real, stay cool!
