Pans Garden review!
I got the chance to stop by a new Chinese Food restaurant called Pans Garden. Pans Garden is a new store located where Kim Kitchen used to be located, on the corner of Main and Delevan, in Buffalo, NY. Now I am a very picky eater when it comes to Chinese food. Having grown up in Thornhill, Ontario, a very asian part of the Toronto Suburbs. But my main reference point has to be from a place called Chongs on Yonge Street in Toronto. Chongs is now called Golden House and is located near Summerhill. I specifically look for the quality in a few specific dishes. Hunan Beef, Sesame Chicken, and Mo Po ToFu.
Sesame Chicken and Mo Po ToFu
Tonight I got myself a combination dinner. Half Sesame Chicken and Half Mo Po ToFu. I must say I am impressed. First off the rice is fresh and fluffy. The Mo Po Tofu has pork in it, with a somewhat sweet sauce. Tastes almost perfect to me. The Sesame Chicken is alright, The sauce is great, nice and spicey, but the chicken is slightly rubbery. All in all tho its very tasty. The Egg Rolls and Spring Rolls are also very excellent. All in all I would highly recommend trying this place out... Also the girl behind the counter is pretty hot. :) An added bonus. I would give my experience with them 4.5 out of 5. I will be returning. EDIT: In 2016 the owners sold the store to a new family. They bought a storefront up in North Tonawanda, and opened a store called Lin's BBQ. Which is really good by the way!. The new owners of Pans Garden however, don't keep the place quite as clean. I have gotten sick from food there on a number of occasions. I have vowed not to return. So be wary.
